Double Loop
Double loop binding is preformed wire which is looped twice through every punched hole. Double loops are available in 3:1, 2:1 and 19 loop

Mandrel
A cylinder unit which is used for winding the coil before it is inserted into the punched document
Margin Depth
How close to the edge of the paper that the holes are punched. Binding machines either have a fixed or adjustable margin depth
